Say goodbye to scouse brows worn on the likes of Colleen Rooney, Tamara Eccleston (pictures in the white frame) and alot of women all across Liverpool and also made famous from the programme 'Scouse Wives' the big and bold brow has since disappeared to the new POW BROW! Graphic, dark, edgy and attention grabbing. The brow also frames the face. Seen on the likes of Cara Delevinge, Kate Middleton and Amber Le Bon (pictures in black frame). The new look has since made it to the what's new in magazines and online such as Look and Vogue. Handily it only takes 3 steps to obtain the look.
One - make sure corners of the brow are square. Draw it in using a sharpened brow pencil. Normally found in all good stores. Ranging from £5/£8 The 'pow' buts the power in BROW.
Two- using a brown powder blend in and sparse areas, creating a fuller look.
Three - finally finishing the brow off use some brown mascara, rub excess of and gently comb through.
NOW YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN POW BROW.
I've posted some funny and gone wrong eyebrows pictures (in red frame) Hope you enjoy!!!

Chevrolet Competition
In my last year of uni we had to do at least 3 fashion competitions. One of them I decided to take part in was the Chevrolet Competition and one which I found very interesting to do!
Here is a bit of background information on Chevrolet and the competition itself.
BACKGROUND
The young CreatiVe CheVrolet (yCC) is a pan-european con- test for students of applied arts. the goal of yCC is three-fold: to foster creativity; support emerging artists in the early stag- es of their careers; and reinforce core values of the Chevrolet brand. When Chevrolet launched the contest five years ago, students from 32 applied arts schools in eight countries com- peted — but that was just the beginning. In five short years, yCC has become a highly-anticipated and truly pan-european event. yCC 2011 alone garnered 552 sub- missions from 155 applied arts schools in 22 countries. each year, young artists from a growing number of schools have responded enthusiastically to creative challenges in selected disciplines, such as Fashion, Photography, Video and Visual arts.
With Chevrolet europe as committed to yCC as ever, we hope you will join us and help make yCC 2012 the most exciting contest yet.
SCOpE
as the yCC participation rate rises, so does the caliber of the contest. yCC continues to attract not only more students, schools and countries, but heightened media attention and jury members who are well-known leaders and innovators in their fields.
yCC projects are judged on both the national and european level. the top three european yCC winners in each discipline receive a cash prize and an invitation to a gala awards cer- emony. every first-place european winner is also invited to take part in a unique behind-the-scenes work experience in his/her field.
recognition, exposure and real-world experience are just some of the rewards of yCC.
ABOUT CHEVROLET
Chevrolet is the fourth biggest global car brand and arguably one of the most iconic. For more information about Chevrolet and its 100-year history, please visit: http://www.chevroleteurope.comtition itself.
ABOUT the Competition
We were given Road trip as theme and we had to choose a car and design a dress that would match it! Instantly I chose route 66. I chose the 1950s to 1970s Nomad brand of car and designed the outfits with the 50's in mind. I'm proud to say I came second in the UK devision and won a wonderful prize of €800. I have posted the picture of my final board and design. Please give me feedback, and well done to the other contestants.
Here is a link of all the countries that had taken part in the fashion category from Hungry to Croatia.

Famous for his the crystallised skull estimated £55million and the formaldehyde shark, Damien Hirst has a recent art exhibition open at Tate Modern London. Decided as 'Brilliant' by the Sunday times and ‘Beautifully installed’ by Financial Times it's well worth going to see. I went with my mum a few weeks ago and what an experience.
Here is a little information about the exhibition.
Open from...
4 April – 9 September 2012
Costs...
£14, concessions available
Open...
Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 22.00. Last entry: Monday – Thursday, 17.15; Friday – Sunday, 21.15
The Damien Hirst exhibition is proving very popular, so here are the easiest ways to see the exhibition:
• Become a Tate Member and avoid the ticket queues. Members do not need to book timed tickets. Show your members card at the exhibition entrance.
• Book more than 3 days in advance and we will post tickets to you
• Book online between 4 hours and 3 days in advance of visiting and pick your tickets up in the gallery. Tickets booked via telephone must be done so at least 24 hours in advance.
• Buy tickets from 10.00 on the day in the gallery. There may be queues at weekends and bank holidays, and your ticket may be valid for a time slot later in the day. We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
A little information about Damien himself.
Hirst first came to public attention in London in 1988 when he conceived and curated Freeze, an exhibition in a disused warehouse which showed his work and that of his friends and fellow students at Goldsmiths College. In the nearly quarter of a century since that pivotal show, Hirst has become one of the most influential artists of his generation.
I have uploaded photos of what to expect at the exhibition and others of Hirst and his very famous crystallised skull.

'Founded by Stephane Raynor in 1977, the story of BOY is a true one off, in that that the wildest rumours and legends that surround it couldn’t hope to compete with the reality. Beloved by the underground, but frequently courted by an overground hungry for a piece of BOY’s trademark attitude, it remains the label that everyone wants in on.' Words by William Wright

Paris Couture Week
This week Christian Dior: Runway - Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture F/W 2013. Showing beautiful and elegant garments! The pictures I have chosen for my blog are from the F/W 2013 show. They resemble bold shapes with a bright flush of colour! Shoes were pointed, which kind of matched there slick hair and a slapsh of colour makeup! I love the show! You can check out the runway on YouTube for more of an Idea! My favourite is the beautiful red cost with a gold waist belt! This could be worn over a 1950s style knee high printed dress with a pair a slick black pointed heels for the autumn or in the winter with a pair of thigh high black lace up boots! Hope you enjoyed the show.
